A quick reminder about medical advice and results at Bungendore Medical Centre πŸ’¬

πŸ‘©β€βš•οΈ Reception Staff

Our lovely reception team is here to help with bookings and general enquiries β€” but they are not qualified to give medical advice and are not permitted to discuss medical information via phone, email, or any other form of communication.

🩺 If you have a health concern or want to discuss results, please make an appointment with your doctor or ask to speak with one of our nurses.

πŸ“„ How We Handle Results:

All patient results are securely received and added to your file, where they’re reviewed by your doctor. Here’s what happens next:

βœ… Normal Results:

No news is good news! If your results are all clear or don’t require follow-up, you won’t hear from us.

πŸ“… Non-Urgent Results:

If your doctor wants to discuss something, we may contact you to book a routine appointment.

πŸ“ž Urgent Results:

You may receive a call from your doctor, nurse, or our team to organise a priority appointment.

πŸ“² General Results:

In some cases, a nurse may call to discuss your results β€” but only after the doctor has reviewed them.

πŸ’‘ Want to chat about your results?

Please book a consult with your GP. This is treated as a standard appointment and may not be bulk billed. If you have questions about billing, your doctor will be happy to explain during your visit.

πŸ” We’re committed to keeping your health information safe, private, and handled the right way β€” thanks for your understanding and support!
