Dr Sasanka Gunaratne
Sasanka is a specialist general practitioner.
He graduated from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2003, and was in UK for 1 year, before moving to Perth in 2006.
Sasanka moved to Canberra in 2008. Since he has worked in a variety of clinical roles, including in the Emergency Department, before moving into General Practice in 2011.
He has been working in Bungendore Medical Centre since 2012.
He completed his specialist training in General Practice in 2013. He has also attained the Diploma of Child Health from Sydney Children's Hospital in 2011 and has obtained post graduate certificate in occupational health.
Sasanka has special interests in Emergency Medicine, skin conditions, minor surgical procedures, child health and men's health.
