Dr Marjorie Cross

MBBS FRACGP OAM

Dr Cross is a specialist general practitioner.

She graduated from Monash University and when she first moved to Bungendore was completing a Diploma in Obs. and Gynae.

She started working as a GP in Bungendore and commenced Bungendore Medical Centre in1980. She completed specialist exams in General Practice in 1990.

She is a senior medical educator with the RACGP, and has undertaken advanced education in medical education, and regularly teaches supervisors as well as registrars in general practice.

She is a Rural Clinical teacher with ANU and a Supervisor with ACCRM (Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine).

She is a member of the RACGP Special Interest Group around Family Violence and is involved regularly in presenting at international workshops on this subject.

Her other passion is in planetary health and the environment.

She really enjoys the complexity of general practice and continues to see patients with chronic and complex needs.
