CONGRATULATIONS to:
Dr Chaitali,
Dr K and;
Dr Michelle Yin.
This week we have much to celebrate at Bungendore Medical Centre, with three of our GP Registrars attaining their Fellowships with RACGP.
The Fellowship finalises their transition from GP Registrar to Specialist General Practitioner.
This is the culmination of many years of hard work on their part, initially during academic study, but particularly those years post their medical degrees. During this time they have dedicated their time to general practice and hospital-based learning.
The doctors have worked extremely hard to get to this point and their success is well deserved.
All three will remain with the practice in the immediate future, benefiting the Bungendore community immeasurably.
May we also take the opportunity to thank our patients, who have generously welcomed the registrars to the practice, initially by allowing them to observe in appointments, and finally entrusting them with their medical care.
Without you, this would not be possible. We all learn so much from our patients and a good GP never stops learning.
Similarly, we extend our thanks to the senior clinicians and nurses at Bungendore Medical Centre who mentor our registrars. Special thanks go to Dr Shirley and Dr Cross who are our most passionate and dedicated teachers.
We believe that a teaching practice improves the health of the community. Every single doctor who has stayed with the Bungendore community, first of all, came and trained here as GP Registrar.
